寒枝凋谢路荒芜，紫藤枯，白头吁。
唯有悲愁、不用待人沽。
追梦梅妻兼鹤子，携疏影，拜林逋。
眼中含泪耳边呼，问须臾，任辛劬。
注目衰容、难见两眉舒。
古往今来多少事，唯生死，太悬殊。
罗辉，1950年生，笔名四维子，湖北大冶人。曾任湖北省襄樊市市长等职，现任中华诗词学会副会长。著有《四维吟稿》《联律与联谱》等，编著《诗词格律与创作》等。
LUO Hui, born in 1950, the Luos’ Kid by pen name, a native of Daye, Hubei Province. The poet served as Mayor of Xiangfan, Hubei Province. Now he is Vice President of Chinese Poetry Association. He authored Poetry Collection of the Luos’ Kid, Couplet Rules and Their Genealogy, etc. and compiled Rhythm and Creation, etc.（张雪丽译）

The road lies waste and the cold twigs sway dry,
The rotten wisterias
Towards my gray head sigh.
Only rues and woes one does not need to buy.
We seek Wintersweets and crane chicks in dream.
A shade sparse in arms,
Lin we respect high.
A sough to the ear, tears wetting the eye,
I question my own sigh:
Why failed though hard I try!
A gaze at her pale face,
Her brows not raised high.
How many affairs now or in the past?
Only life and death
Are too far a cry.
